Does Elf Makeup Primer Contain Silicone

How are you all doing? I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend & enjoyed the amazing sun we had (if you lot're in the UK). I know I did. Unfortunately I had to work a few days over the extended weekend merely I still managed to fit in some fourth dimension in the sun which was great.

Today I want to review the eastward.50.f Hydrating Confront Primer which I picked up from Superdrug a couple weeks ago. My makeup had been looking and then dry & just not sitting nicely on my skin, and so I thought a hydrating primer could assist me out a petty. I besides switched upwardly my foundation castor back to my onetime one.. no regrets!

Review
I was surprised at the texture of this primer. It has a silicone experience to information technology & had I of felt this without knowing which primer it was, I would've guessed it to be a pore filling primer rather than a hydrating one.
Although I was surprised, I wasn't disappointed. I personally don't mind a silicone primer. I used to love the L'oreal Infallible 1 & information technology actually feels rather like on application.

As I mentioned, I first tried this out when my skin was particularly dry & giving me some hassle. So I was definitely putting it to the exam.
I noticed that my foundation applied much smoother than before and it didn't immediately cling to dry patches equally it had been doing in the days before. Slap-up first impression! Although don't become it into your brows as it makes applying any product in there a nightmare..
The satisfaction didn't end there – I constitute that my skin remained looking much more than hydrated throughout the solar day when I wore this primer. My face looked smoother as promised.
I wouldn't say this primer increased the longevity of my makeup, at least non enough for me to notice. But I didn't heed that equally I don't necessarily call up that is the main focus of this particular primer (although they do say information technology creates a base of operations ideal for long-lasting makeup).

Overall, I am a fan of this primer & it is definitely something I volition be standing to utilize when my skin is feeling dry. If yous find your foundation is looking dry out & flaked, I would definitely recommend this i for you! The only downside is that I'll probably exist going through this really quickly. Information technology as well smells similar playdough which might put some people off.
